The only forgiveness you or any of us can receive from The LORD is not by asking The LORD to look at the faith of others but by having sincere faith ourselves in The LORD Jesus Christ and his sacrificial and substitutionary death on the cross. He hung and died in our place taking all of our sins and the punishment we deserve because of them upon Himself. By His death we die to sin. By His resurrection we live to righteousness. It is by faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, not in anything nor anyone else. Our Church, Church affiliation, nor affiliation with others who we think are holy have absolutely no bearing whatsoever upon our salvation.
To be saved we must come to The LORD on an individual basis and simply and personally receive what only He can give.
Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Man, you’re giving religion a bad name. Check out your own alleged Christian attitude.
We are all part of the living “Body of Christ” in His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic faith, as stated in the Nicene Creed. Just as we could be physically healed through the intercession of the saints, we may secure spiritual graces from the holy lives of others. The weaker limbs of the body are nourished and draw strength from the healthier parts.
