The campaign against health-care reform fuels a huge number of hate-filled Americans who will never accept a black man as president.
Barack Obama seemed remarkably upbeat the other day as he left for his first formal vacation as president. It's true that this is one of the coolest cats the world has ever seen, always apparently comfortable in his own skin, unflappable, dignified, whatever the winds swirling around him.
But that doesn't mean he's always right, and there are plenty of reasons to fear that he's very wrong if he doesn't think he's in big, deep trouble.
It's hard when discussing American politics not to want to break into constant superlatives, as in “the craziest” this or “the most extreme” that. I saw a clip the other day of conservative bloviator Charles Krauthammer asserting as a matter of indisputable fact that if Obama lost the health-care battle his administration was over. Full stop. Over. May as well turn the keys of the White House over to Sarah Palin. Yet it's barely half a year since his inauguration and 3½ to go. This is as preposterous a comment as is conceivable – you see, superlatives are already inescapable – yet his fellow pundits on the panel all mindlessly agreed.
What is true is that the U.S. President and the presidency are in great jeopardy, but not from the health-care battle as such. There are an abundance of dire warning signs.(continued)

Well, that about defines the author. Now, I often disagree with Charles Krauthammer, but "bloviator" is not in the dictionary of adjectives that can be applied to him.
He is a well spoken and thoughtful guy, even when I DO disagree with him.
Never accept a wanna be... period, much less such an obvious enemy of this country.

Every brother I know from the southside golfs, stays in million dollar vacation homes, ditchs State of the Black Union/black press/MLKs birthday *which McCain at least had the nads to go to the hotel and get booed, go to a black church for 20 years and not only lie about the pastor... throws him under the bus, no mention on the national day of prayer but a five minute primer on Ramadan, wimps out in every country he goes to and has no manhood but goes on ‘who he knows or who he can meet’. Meanwhile the blacks that had jobs lost them, can’t find another one, got to lay off employees, losing their business or can’t get a loan to start one, the 401 K and retirement is slashed, losing their houses, going on welfare cause due to lack of jobs and scream ‘my man Barack’, ‘give him time’, ‘they’re racist’... just don’t ask where the jobs are, why the money didn’t flow for foreclosures or businesses, why he’s swimming in bucks and living lush as a ‘public servant’, just give me 200 bucks on my social security or welfare to hold me over and he’s cool... cause he’s ‘representin’’
