I am very active in our TEA Party protests, write and call my elected leaders, attend all rallies and townhalls, am going to Washington on 9/12, but many of my friends are not concerned....do nothing...and wonder why I am so involved. They are ignorant of what is going on in our community, much less in the state or national area and don’t even try to find out.
Just as there are millions like me, there must be millions more like them.
But have heart; all that we are doing will be paying dividends when it gets bad enough to the point they will have no choice but to pay attention.
YUP.
I understand your position... but remember this one this... it is very hard to get Mr. And Mrs. Suburban to riot when they have a house, cars and kids that take higher priorities to them.
But when they lose their jobs, stuff and freedom...

My husband and I see the same thing. “Oh, I wanted to go to the Tea Party gathering, but Mildred wants to go to the coast that weekend...”
It’s really sad.
