A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."
Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called "I pledge" on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, "Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other." The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.

Folks, this is a watershed change. I am stunned after seeing this.
And they are showing this to kids, little kids? And OUR tax dollars PAID for this?
Even if it was privately produced and distributed, there is NO way this thing should be shown to school kids!
This is appalling.

Those arrogant women look freakishly fake. The faces of change, courtesy of plastic surgery. Just more of self-deluded Hollyweird and its manufactured reality.

Subtext: if these neighbors are not on board with THIS program; they will be in big trouble.
We know this White House; made recently; a 'neighborly outreach'; think this is the same innocently couched MO. And just as frightening and 'foreboding'. They are getting to the 'heart of the matter'; embedding their agenda in Pop Culture milieu; where it will find hearts/minds and eventually 'legs'.
'said with a downward hand thrust' - and offered not by some sweet young thing; but a even-footed; solid-body male. (Just think the choice of the messenger here;carries it own message as well).
