Levi Johnston, not content with just a GQ spread, heads to Condé Nast sibling Vanity Fair to offer a first person account: "Me and Mrs. Palin." The magazine posted a couple excerpts early this morning, including Johnston's account of how Palin considered keeping Bristol's pregnancy a secret.
Sarah told me she had a great idea: we would keep it a secret — nobody would know that Bristol was pregnant. She told me that once Bristol had the baby she and Todd would adopt him. That way, she said, Bristol and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging — she wouldn’t give up. She would say, “So, are you gonna let me adopt him?” We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby. I think Sarah wanted to make Bristol look good, and she didn’t want people to know that her 17-year-old daughter was going to have a kid.
The full piece will be in the October issue. So for now, Vanity Fair's only offering a couple excerpts and a behind-the-scenes video of the Johnston photo shoot, which includes a discussion of whether he'd pose for Playgirl. Seriously.

In an era where concepts like “honor”, “loyalty”, “decency” and “manliness” are mocked and scorned it is not surprising that this boy would be acting like a craven rumor monger and spreading tales in the fashion of a crabbed and spiteful old woman. Exposing himself publicly in a women’s soft porn magazine would simply be part of the persona he has chosen to adopt.

Hey, Levi, YOU MEDIA WHORE!!! Look, I don’t like using liberal tactics and resorting to name calling, but in your case, it’s 100% truth! Shut up (another liberal favorite saying, sorry) and move on with your pathetic life. Todd Palin should have beat the piss out of you when you got his daughter pregnant. Instead the family rose above that and decided that they would support you, and THIS is ow you repay them. Todd should be allowed to have 5 minutes with you in a private room with thick walls so no one can hear your screams.

I don’t for a second think they were trying to keep anything a secret. They were looking for a way to terminate this sniveling jerk’s legal rights to their grandchild.
