That insurance company money is very tasty for Sen. Corker.
Obama’s arrogant misfire on the “town hall” strategy made it harder for Republican politicians to sell out their country on behalf of the insurance companies. but the “public option” non-controversy gives them the cover, maybe, to pass the “fascist option,” Obamacare.

“Why compromise?”
Insurance company payoffs.
What it is all about in the first place.

GAWD!!! When will the GOPers get it through their thick skulls that the Democrat party is the worst domestic enemy this nation has ever faced?!?!
There is a common ground," Corker said Wednesday in an interview before his final town hall meeting. "It's half a loaf, possibly, from the administration's viewpoint. But what it does is take us way down the field."
No sir, what it does is take us closer to Eurosocialism, just at a minutely slower pace. Go ahead and keep handing over those half-loaves... as long as you're happy eating the crumbs they'll throw you.

Corker = McCain, Snowe, Collins, Graham, Grassely, Hatch, Crist.
The kind of Republicans who give Republicans a bad name.

Won’t insurance companies go out of business if this goes through?
To: rabscuttle385
You have to know when to hold’em, and when to fold’em. Corker should not take up either gambling or trading. He’d buy (or hold) when he should sell (fold,) and sell (fold) when he should buy (hold.)

“Wont insurance companies go out of business if this goes through?”
Insurance companies wrote the bills, own the politicians, own Obama.
The “public option” is a marketing gimmick. There will be none. It is Obams’s fashion of leading his minions to the compromise/back stab. It is part of his hope strategy.

If contentious provisions such as the public option and end-of-life counseling are sidelined, and a smaller, less costly and less controversial plan emerges, the legislation could eventually resemble GOP health-care proposals that aim to contain costs and expand coverage, although mainly through the private sector.
Are my eyes deceiving me, or did the Washington Post/CBS News just admit the Republicans DO have health-care proposals. Until now, the MSM has been stuck on the Democrat talking point that those against ObamaCare want to do nothing...
