CHANDLER, AZ -- Police say two teens face burglary charges after they allegedly forced their way into a home with a 14-year-old boy inside Wednesday morning.
According to a Chandler police report, the teen was alone in the home near Frye and Alma school roads when two men knocked on the front door about 7:30 a.m.
Since he didn't know the men, the boy did not answer the door, according to the report.
Police said the men then forced their way into the home through a back door and the boy ran out of the house to a neighbor who called police.
In the meantime, the boy's father returned home after dropping off another child and was told of the burglary, police said.
The father reportedly went into the home, found his gun and took one of the suspects into custody.
The second suspect jumped from a second story window and fled. He was caught and arrested by police.
The suspects are 17-year-old Chandler residents, according to police. Their identities were not released.
Those Amish boys, when will they learn.
Didn't mention names, but probably Juan and Pedro--just guessing.
