George H. W. Bush talked to students apparently in 1991, which of course the White House is now using as a defense. Does anyone know how long GHW Bush talked for? From what I hear Obama is to talk to the children for 2 hours (an awnfully long time to tell them to study hard and stay in school).
Any info regarding Bush’s talk would be appreciated.

It's weird that they are pledging to obey a man who has 3.5 years left in office and isn't guaranteed a 2nd term (as none are), rather than allegiance to our nation or community.

I am in NH and they plan to play Obama’s lecture to our children Live at 12:00. I am considering keeping my son (11) home from school that day although the school is taping the speech and let us know that it may be played “at a later date.” :(
