I just posted this on my Facebook page. i m a publik scewl teechur, and I have requested that my principal allow students to come to my room for discussion if they don’t want to watch the Tuesday speech. If he allows this, I plan on showing this to the group. It pretty much sums up what I have been saying about the cult of personality, which is the real reason why obama is addressing our children. Well, that and to get them on his side.

Addiction to pornography is insidious. Once the eye sees something, the brain NEVER forgets. I have fought the library in my town for having open computers close to where small children gather. Computer Porn draws the morally corrupt element we do not need in our libraries or anywhere else.
Yes. Don’t use any history books. They are all very liberally biased. Our government text refers to the Constitution as a “living document.” Depending on the age group, try reading a novel and then have the students do research on it. Animal Farm works well with middle school and high school. I might suggest Johnny Tremane (sp?) for elementary school. Also, Lynn Chenney has written some excellent patriotic books for young children. You could use any of these to encourage research in a particular area of history.
I’d forgotten about Johnny Tremaine but I do have
“A Patriot’s History”, “The Light and the Glory”
“Amazing Grace”, “From Sea to Shining Sea” and
“America, A Call to Greatness”.
A little pamphlet by David T. Moore, called “America,
Too Young to Die” is what corrected by historical
compass. It’s out of print and Pastor Moore has been
kneecapped by a scandal.

One more suggestions. Rush always reads the real story of the first Thanksgiving. It’s in one of his books. That would be a great lesson on socialism, plus it incorporates American history. Good luck!
