A 350-foot-tall WAEB radio tower crashed to the ground early Friday in Whitehall Township after its support cables were cut, township police said.

SACRAMENTO - An earlier 10-acre grass fire that destroyed a radio tower this morning reignited Wednesday afternoon along Commerce Circle, wiping out yet another transmission tower.
The two-alarm blaze broke out around 12:30pm Wednesday, spreading to ten acres and destroying two radio towers.
The destroyed towers, owned by ABC Radio, interrupted normal broadcast transmissions for KIID-AM, an affiliate of Radio Disney.
