There are crazy people in this country. We all know it. Reality television normal people move right on past prove to us how many egotistical, shallow, completely uninformed individuals there are in this society. That’s freedom baby. But its interesting to note, in the wake of news that conservatives now outnumber liberals in every state of the union, that it isn’t EVERYBODY who’s crazy in this country. Remember that 35% of Democrats think George W Bush was in on the 9-11 attacks, and 26% are not sure. A MAJORITY of Democrats, not the country, believe the President of the United States either was involved in or knew about the attack on New York, despite all evidence to the contrary.
These are your TRUTHER NUTTERS. And they’re still out there, on every issue, at every turn. These are the ones who can denigrate American health care “to help people”. These are the ones who believe its OK for government to give doctors incentives to promote end of life issues. These are people who think spending another Trillion Dollars is saving money. And now these are the people out to kill Health Care Reform if it doesn’t have their quota of socialism via one, and only one, version of public option. Without that, Democrats (who control everything) would rather have NO HEALTH CARE REFORM AT ALL.

The right will serve the left by default if this passes.
The national conversation will forever more revolve around health care and the left’s agenda.
It will not matter who wins elections after/if this passes—they will all serve under a leftist government at that point.
The very day it passes will mark the end of the founders idea of self-rule. It will be the end of the USA as we have known it.
THAT’S why it is so important to them.
Finally, they would have succeeded in felling the capitalist country they hate so much.
If you can’t believe humans are capable of such a thing then you have consumed their subversion well—you are quite ready to be their slave.
The Founders were obviously just kidding around with the whole constitution, separation of powers, Bill of Rights stuff.
Don’t worry, 0bama’s gonna fix that constitution problem of his. After all, it doesn’t say what the government can do ‘on your behalf’ now does it?

Certainly the racism is still dominant...but Harry Truman was an anomaly, maybe? Kennedy, too, was both a deficit hawk and strong on defense...and warned against the Great Society that Johnson built in many of his last works and speeches...with the exception of those two, going back at least to FDR, Johnson, Carter, Clinton and this Mutt are certainly a leftist disaster...

They weren’t any good. Especially Truman.
I was not promoting them but citing them as being far less like the toads of the last thirty years. Which they were. No liberal Dem today would have carried out wither of those two missions that distinguished their carreers, military or fiscally. If you disagree, OK. That’s pretty much all I was saying.
Well yes the anti-Americanism didn’t become a rat staple until the late 60’s. Prior to that only the real commie sympathizers like Henry Wallace espoused those views. No one like that would have been elected back then.
As to the Kennedy tax cuts though, the top rate was 91% and was cut to 77% (and was 70% when Reagan cut to 50%, barley passing the house).
I imagine even Bernie Sanders and Charlie Rangel would not support a 91% top rate today.
