Obama is such an amateur punk of a politician. He’s got absolutely no business whatsoever trying to play in the big leagues of international politics.
First, he insults the hell out of the Brits by returning the bust of Winston Churchill, then goes on to insult them further with his horrifying faux pas with the Queen and his awful treatment of their Prime Minister.
And then he wants to publicly condemn their release of the Libyan bomber - knowing all the time that they are fully aware that he knew what they were doing all the time.
And he’s arrogant enough, or stupid enough to believe that they’ll take that insult lying down? What sort of boneheaded idiot does something like this, when he knows that he’ll get ratted out in a heartbeat?
But, I suppose that’s redundant, isn’t it?
In the past Brown was always referring to Obama in a very positive way in hopes of keeping his own balloon floating along.
But now with Obama down badly in the polls and losing lots of political clout, Brown tries to use him as a human shield with no care about going against The One.
This is more of the loooooove the Obozo was going to create around the world. Chavez, Ahamanutjob and Castro are laughing at him; Israel has b*tch-slapped him over the settlements; Canada has called him on his kiss-the-unions’-a**es protectionist policies; the Swiss are mad because he’s demanded they release the names of the holders of “secret” bank accounts; and now our oldest ally is calling him a liar. Good going, Obozo. Maybe you can p*ss off Australia next - our staunchest ally who’s fought beside us in every war in the past 100 years. By the time the Obozo is through alienating our allies and bowing to our enemies, we’ll be lucky if even the French will speak to us.
Well, don’t forget the insult he hurled when he moved Gitmo prisoners to the Carribean(UK owns security) without telling the Brits. At least the Brits followed protocol and kept Obama fully in the loop on this prisoner release.
Jeez....
He tried to bully Germany into Stimulus spending.
He tried to CHEAT / SCREW Germany in the GM deal.
He reneged on a concession made to Germany during the GM deal negotiations (withdrew couple of hundred million worth of loan gurantees).
Germany went against him and their economy is already growing. I feel good for the Germans. But, it is unfortunate, that the US is simultaneously being weakened on all fronts. That is saddening.
You know, American presidents, since at least the early 1900s have treated our British cousins as allies. If you're an American president you instinctively know this, and feel a certain kinship with them.
On the other hand, if you're a Kenyan president, you probably feel a certain animosity toward the Brits because of the recent history of colonial rule, and you'd likely treat them with some disdain and disrespect.
Now, which one does Obama seem to be?
