That needs to start in the House, by replacing the ineffectual Boehner with the more charismatic Mike Pence. To be a leader, you need people to want to follow you, and John Boehner doesn't have that. Mike Pence does.
Real Republican leadership is the missing element to the Republicans' elusive recovery. If they continue to ignore this into the midterms, their opportunity to regain power will slip away.
“Sixty percent (60%) now believe the President is at least as ethical as most politicians.”
What does that mean? 60% believe he’s just as crooked as the rest of them? If criminal activity is their ethic...then why not?
I like PENCE he would be good and he’s from the “heartland” but Boehner and Steele has been a horrible leader for the RNC I think the guy must take vacations as often as Obama does you very seldom see him on FOX, I don’t know about the other news networks, I don’t watch any of them.
Come to think of it,other than mornings to catch news and Beck I don’t watch FOX at night.LOL.
I just wish a Rupert Murdoch type rich guy would come along and have no fair and balanced...but ALL CONSERVATIVE-ALL THE TIME NEWS NETWORK.
Name anything any Republican in Congress has even done that is worth approving of and/or following?
The whole party is inept. I am on FR daily and we’re the proverbial echo chamber of the freaking party and I can’t tell you what we have to cheer about. All we know is that the Dems can’t get out of their own way bumbling about like the Three freakin’ Stooges.
Hmmmmm, Obama’s core support has slipped another notch. I see he is at 28% on the strongly approved.
Sorry, we can't do that. Boehner's been around longer. /s
“All we know is that the Dems can’t get out of their own way bumbling about like the Three freakin’ Stooges.”
ANd in this era of dumbed-down, pilled-up voters, that may be more than enough. It worked for the Rats in 2006 and 2008.
There are some good ones like Coburn, McCotter, Bachmann and a few others. It is very hard for them to get the word out because the news media is so anti-Conservative and pro-Obama.
Any GOP conservatives speak up and they are branded as racists, kooks or liars. To run a race against a Dem who has endless money from unions, Soros, hedge funds, lawyers and other sources is daunting. You beg for money and if you lose - you probably have debt that you struggle to pay off.
I cannot stand RINO’s like McCain and Grahma-nesty but there are good conservatives out there but cutting through the noise is not easy.
Something happened a couple of days ago. Both Gallup and Ras showed a decent bump for Obama. I’m trying to recall what was going that would have impacted that. I actually think it may have been backlash from the anti-school speech reaction. Not sure.
Unfortunately for the GOP, 0bama’s disapproval is not translating into approval for the Republican party.

Yeah he is down to 28% with his Hopey & Changey base. He may lose a few more of them if ObamaCare gets shot down plus throwing racist Van Jones under the hybrid-bus.
Another thing people need to think about is with the GOP is we have to keepo doing this ourselves. Townhalls, getting in their faces, going to TEA parties, calling their offices and more.
I think it was just statistical noise.
0bama is on a slow, steady, lengthy decline.
Couldn’t you let me enjoy the minus thirteen for a few minutes without the doom and gloom comment.
It may well be true, but ....
What gets me is why didn’t these people see this coming in the first place.
Reading FR previous to the election all of Obama’s agendas have come as no surprise to me. This place has kept me well informed, but if these people are just finding out then I suspect they are reading only what’s out there in the media, and the media will swing them around again when it’s time to elect...a Democrat.
Almost everyone who voted against this socialist “strongly disapproves” of his thuggishness. Just over half of those who voted for obama “strongly approve” of his attempted power grab. Those numbers show good progress for real Americans.
[I actually think it may have been backlash from the anti-school speech reaction.]
I agree.
Okay, let them keep electing Democrats like the MSM tells them to.
