If women and children are transporting ammo, they are targets. Send over the gunships.
Where the hell is the media. They were so willing to announce every death under Bush. Now they are silent. How do they sleep at night. Obama, this is your war. Act like a Commander in Chief not like you are campaigning still.
This is a betrayal of our troops. Words can not express the anger I feel upon learning about these new rules of engagement. If there are civilians in the area and troops can not call in artillery support then sending the soldiers in unaided is tantamount to murder. If they can’t use artillery than don’t send them in to be ambushed like that. Better yet don’t give such a stupid order.
If they’re not going to give our troops the tools to survive and win, then bring them all home now!

This is inexcusable! This should never happen. Have we not learned from our past mistakes? The ROE in Viet Nam cost us dearly. The same in Somalia. Every time civillian jackasses get involved in decisions that should be made at the tactical level we end up with dead soldiers and Marines.
It’s the same old song and dance. Do these morons not realize that the Taliban know our ROE, and that they take advantage of them? If this is allowed to continue we will piss away any confidence the Afghan army has in us. Do you think they are happy that they are getting killed because of our bullshit ROE? Do you think they will continue to fight along side us if this continues? Hell no they won’t, and I damn sure don’t blame them!!

Just as the folks in the Clinton Administration said about the US
involvement in the Balkans, the Obama folks (IF they lose their minds
and spoke the truth) would admit
“Well, it’s the only war we had.”
In other words, Obama needs a war to make sure that as a Democratic stadard
bearer, he at least sort of looks like he’s actually a American...
but he’s draining precious assets, human and materiale, on a war
of dubious value.
Let them fight or get them the hell out.

There needs to be an investigation and if the ROE is the cause then those that put it in place MUST be held accountable.
