Possibly this is the tip of the iceburg of what they’ve uncovered. Well, we know it’s the tip of the iceburg, but maybe they have documented proof that will stand up in court that can prove this is going on all over the country, crosses, state lines, etc etc. I don’t think he would say it’s the magnitude of Watergate if it is just this one isolated thing.
I don’t know this whole thing seems so fishy. Maybe it’s just so unbelievably corrupt that it seems to be untrue. Agree 100%. My only nit to pick would be your use of the term “poor” to describe these people. Between the welfare, free daycare, free this, free that, drug money, whoring money, theft, bad checks, scam lawsuits, defrauding a multitude of stupid government programs, etc., they aren’t poor. Folks can laugh at them or pretend there’s nothing to them if they are given to such Olympic levels of denial.

Yes, I know that there is a lot of information. I guess I was saying, so far, there have not been many indictments or convictions of the stuff we are all aware of, and I’m hoping this current tape is just the tip of the iceburg of investigative journalism.
I don’t know if any of you have read the transcript but it is just incredible. I mean they got everything on that tape to convict the two local Acorn office workers, there is no way those people are going to get out of it. But as the other poster said, the people at the top of the ACORN organization will just throw these people in this office under the bus and claim they had no knowledge and don’t condone it, just an isolated incident, etc. So I’m just hoping there is stuff there to tie in at the leadership level. (I have not read the entire transcript - just through about page 17 of 43 so I don’t know if they talk about getting approval from some higher ups for what they are doing...)
