The important thing about this is it gives a reason to stop any involvement by ACORN in the 2010 census, and can be used to increase the pressure for state and local investigations of ACORN, and perhaps a chance at a federal special prosecutor.

Any person who…(2) Aid or assistance - Willfully aids or assists in, or procures, counsels, or advises the preparation or presentation under, or in connection with any matter arising under, the Internal Revenue laws, of a return, affidavit, claim, or other document, which is fraudulent or is false as to any material matter, whether or not such falsity or fraud is with the knowledge or consent of the person authorized or required to present such return, affidavit, claim, or document; shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction thereof:
Shall be imprisoned not more than 3 years
Or fined not more than $250,000 for individuals ($500,000 for corporations)
Or both, together with cost of prosecution
This is quite sensationalistic. It will surely garner Glenn a ton of media attention and a ratings boost, and it will legitimately cause him to need increased personal security measures. However, if he doesn’t have inarguable proof that this specific incident involves people higher up in the organization than what we see here, I doubt it will even result in having Acorn removed from their involvement in the 2010 census taking. And unless Glenn has proof that the nature of this incident is institutionalized within the Acorn organization, and that there is a clear chain of evidence going all the way to the Whitehouse, I don’t understand Glenn saying this is as big as Watergate.
Maybe I’m missing something important, or maybe not all has been revealed. In any event, it’s riveting and I’ll be watching. Keep your powder dry, Mr. Beck.

I marvel at the way these ACORN goons (and all liberals) play around with language, shaping it to camouflage their agenda. It is this same mindset that would probably call the incineration ovens “warming chambers” or the trains to Birkenau “mass public transport.”

ACORN is under several investigations for voter fraud. This, however, is a different can of beans. This is tax fraud at the very least.
I think there is a case to made that an organization that is counseling people to cheat on their taxes should not be a recipient of any federal funds.
Bingo, she said as much on the tape, that they go to training to learn how to counsel people. Now, does Glenn Beck have proof of this?? Remains to be seen. The interesting thing is that probably Acorn does not know how much more Glenn knows. We need to be praying for him.
