If they stick with the line that it was a “training exercise” then I wouldn’t think so.
The thing is — how many people believe the folks in the Coast Guard are STUPID ENOUGH to plan an exercise on today of all days right by the Pentagon and the President?
I call BS on the whole thing. Sounds like a cover-up to me. Something sure as heck DID happen. Where did the reports of 10 shots fired come from initially? Surely there are MANY, MANY witnesses to this event that could confirm personally whether shots were, or were not fired upon this vessel. I would think there were many news cameras in the area as well due to the memorial... I wonder what, if anything, the media caught on tape — perhaps from a news helicopter or something?
If this really WAS a “training exercise” then heads need to roll in the Coast Guard. If it was NOT then the American public deserves to know the TRUTH.
I just went out to the car here at work to hopefully listen to anything about this on newsradio. I tired 3 stations, NOTHING!, including Beck and Bill Bennet’s shows. Okay, so I only listened for 5 minutes but wtf? Radio silence?
I think I may look into a HAM license...
