Twice, in committee, the republicans wanted to add a proof of citizenship & enforcement of same into the bill. The democrats refused both times. Which leaves a bill with a bunch of words that MEAN NOTHING!
Here is what would have been EVEN better!
Wilson should have stood up and SHOUTED: "You are a liar. You are lying to the American people! And I for one am not going to sit here one second longer and listen to your prevarications!" At that he should have walked out. Today, he would be hailed as the next great voice of Conservatism and Freedom. But he didn't, and we have been weakened by his cowardice!

I wonder — of the 66.1% US citizens in the chart, what fraction are US-born children of illegal aliens?
Somehow we seem to have forgotten all about Bambi’s own illegal alien auntie, still enjoying welfare and bennies in Massachusetts.
This graph shows 34% of uninsured costs come from uninsured legal and illegals using the system, in California. That is a huge percentage. One third is a large percentage, not the biggest, but it is LARGE.
If you don’t think this is a big deal, what if your rates and costs were cut by one third? Your insurance premium, one third less? The system that much less overloaded and taxed (we always hear the system’s resources are over-stretched). Would that not be a very welcome thing?

IMHO, abortions would also have to be covered in any forced insurance scheme. It is either a free capitalist program, or a socialist forced program. If ALL are required to do "whatever", then ALL will be forced to submit to the rules. For us, that means covering illegals with tax money and Christians supporting abortions with their tax money. There is great moral hazard sleeping in the pages of this Bill. Think of the Catholic and other religious hospitals that will have some big decisions in the future. I think we are all myopic just looking at certain lines on a page. This will make a quantum leap of power for the socialist movement to get what they have been denied for decades. In a year or two, we will be gagging with all the bilge being shoved down our throats. From abortions to stealing organs without permission, to paying for transgendered operations, to who knows what else, will be all "in the Bill". You give up more than money in this scheme, you give up your body to the government and the czar's good judgment.
Just keep repeating, " it's for the children". We have voted for the children and elections have consequences. I see dead people from this one.

This violent lawless invasion of illegal aliens never left the debate, and working Americans are forced to deal with this violent epic tax burden daily. The only people that ignored this are the Communist, the Democrats and Republicans. The problem is people being treated are not usually asked their citizenship- at least around here they aren’t. I wonder how they arrived at these figures if they don’t ask?
I don't care what some "experts" say. Those "experts" don't count anchor baby medical cost because they are, wrongly, counted as citizens. The medical cost of illegal women birthing anchor babies is not counted.
What makes illegal alien medical mooching worse, is, in states like Georgia, there's only so much money each year for medical care for the poor. If illegals receive it true American citizens are denied. Sure, they can still get emergency care, but that cost falls on the hospitals.
The last two days I've called Wilson's office and gotten "All lines are busy." I called Rep. Deal's office and asked them to pat Joe on the back for me, as I couldn't get his office. I left a message for Nancy that Wilson was, as the left likes to say, "speaking truth to power" and that BO did lie.
