Wilson is in his 3rd or 4th term in a heavily Republican district. He had nothing really to worry about before Wednesday, and even less to worry about now.

Just imagine what it would have been had his servers been able to keep up with the demand! I tried numerous times to get in and couldn’t. I’ll just wait until the furor dies down a bit and then contribute. Problem with that is that I tend to get busy and never get back to finish it up.

Joe is scheduled to be on Fox News Sunday tmorrow. I hope he presents the Friday night dump that included a change in the administration’s stance on the Illegal Immigrant issue that justifies his position that the Post Turtle lied before a Joint Session to turn the knife just a little bit more.
Follow that with a demmand for special proseccutors for Rangel, Frank and Pelosi before offering any more apologies no matteer what the Dems threaten him with.
Caught CNN at DTW airport this afternoon, just before my flight to NJ, interviewing Wilson’s rival’s campaign mouthpiece letting her chattering about how much money they raised in the past day or so.
No mention of the contributions headed Wilson’s way. They spent a good five minutes or so minutes letting this gal trash Wilson and pump her candidate.

Wilson, who initially apologized for his words, is now riding a reaction that has surpassed the liberal backlash to his words: Miller has raised less than $900,000, according to the Democratic fundraising site ActBlue -- though still more than enough to envigorate his challenge.
Didn't the left claim Miller was over 1 million? Who knew they lied? ;) Half of that will go to pay debts so Miller only has less than half of Wilson's chest to use to his benefit when you add Wilson's starting 200k before this happened. his in a heavily Republican district. I think some Republicans in need of funds will suddenly be Joe Wilson's best friend soon. :)
He can donate that money to other Republicans in need. He has the potential to go from a backbencher to a powerbroker.

Saw CNN gal yesterday going on about the $1 million raised by the other guy, then noting, with a smirk, how Wilson only raised $67,000 before his remark. CNN also failed to mention that the other guy’s total includes $235,000 of his own money... CNN comment, “What a stupid move by the Congessman.”

McLamo was the most vocal ~ calling for Wilson to ‘apologize immediately’.
People in AZ aren’t taking McLame’s comments too well. I’m in AZ working for most of 2 weeks and have been hearing talk radio with people calling in castigating McLame and cheering on Wilson. I’d say our war hero should have thought about all the Tea Parties and realized Wilson’s outburtst would make many of us feel Wilson was speaking for us. Big mistake I think for John.

I look at at this way: how much would I have been willing to pay a congressman to call out “You lie!” to Obama during his sermon? Probably a lot more than $100. That’s my contribution to Wilson so far, so I got a bargain as far as I’m concerned.
As a Wilson constituent, I can assure everyone that if Pelosi decides to “censure” Joe, he won’t have to run but one campaign ad: video of Pelosi’s screech.
And I just LOVE seeing the dems pour all that money to Miller, who hasn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of winning that race.
Maybe some of the Republicans will figure out that directly opposing Obama and the Socialists is a way to generate cash donations?
