Today the editors of Rupert Murdoch's Wall Street Journal slammed GOP frontrunner Donald Trump for his opposition to the publication's long-standing support for open border trade and immigration policies. The Wall Street Journal, like Murdoch, is decidedly open borders. In 1984, the WSJ editorial board wrote, "If Washington still wants to 'do something' about immigration, we propose a five-word constitutional amendment: There shall be open borders." "Republicans should look closely before they leap," the Journal warns voters. The Journal points specifically to Mr. Trump's recent hiring of Stephen Miller, the brain trust of populist thought leader Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)80%....

On Friday the The Washington Post released audio of Trump spokesman John Miller who spoke with reporters on Trumps relationship with his wife Ivana. The Washington Post says the spokesman Miller was actually Donald Trump himself. A recording obtained by The Washington Post captures what New York reporters and editors who covered Trumps early career experienced in the 1970s, 80s and 90s: calls from Trumps Manhattan office that resulted in conversations with John Miller or John Barron public-relations men who sound precisely like Trump himself who indeed are Trump, masquerading as an unusually helpful and boastful...

Stephen Miller may be the brightest official inside of politics today. The former Jeff Sessions staffer joined the Trump campaign in January. Miller went on Americas Newsroom today to discuss the Colorado voter-less scam and the current state of the GOP race for president. This was another excellent interview by Stephen Miller. The most wrong thing about it, of course, is that Colorado canceled their election so there wasnt even a vote of the actual residents of Colorado. You have soldiers, men and women who fought from Colorado, who fought in Iraq so they could vote Remember the...

Stephen Miller, a trusted aide to Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama, will join Donald Trump's presidential campaign on Wednesday, serving as a senior policy adviser to the Republican front-runner. Hope Hicks, a spokesman for Trump, confirmed Miller's move on Monday. [Poll: Donald Trump gained 15 points on Ted Cruz in Iowa in two weeks] The hiring of Miller is the latest sign that Trump's tight-knit campaign team is expanding as he continues to lead GOP polls and planning to release more policies in the coming weeks as the primary race unfolds. October 17, 2015 is the centenary of the birth of Arthur Miller, one of the literary lefts shining lights and righteous crusaders against some of liberals worst demons: Joe McCarthy, HUAC, and, more generally, anti-communism. Yes, anti-communism. As often noted by Harvards Richard Pipes and the Hoover Institutions Robert Conquest, few things have animated liberal animus quite like anti-communism. Its not that liberals have been pro-communist so much as they are anti-anti-communist. They dislike anti-communists more than they dislike communists. Their preferred demon isnt Joe Stalin but Joe McCarthy. As James Burnham, the great ex-communist, put it, for the left,...

Miller was a key witness in Libbys trial, but in her new book she has repudiated her testimony. Libby was railroaded in his conviction by Special Counsel Patrick J. Cameron, whose party risks being beaten into third place in next month's European Parliament elections behind the anti-EU UK Independence party (UKIP), has stood by Maria Miller, Britain's minister for culture, since a parliamentary report ordered her to pay back wrongly claimed expenses last week. Unfortunately for Miller, her sidekick Jim Ward (who does impressions), completely lost his cool and said Obamas critics should test the alleged laws of gravity by jumping out of a plane without a parachute. Its another Playtex bottle of the milk of human kindness from liberal talk radio. MILLER: Yeah I think the President got off...

Washington residents are up in arms, though not armed. With violent crime up 40 percent in the first two months of the year - including double the number of robberies at gunpoint - residents are looking for ways to protect themselves. Elected officials and police have no solution. -snip- As you can see in the video below, Paul Quander, the Districts deputy mayor for public safety and justice, responded that crime victims should give the criminals what they want. Mr. Portman protested, saying, But how do you know youre going live and survive? Youre completely at their mercy. Mr. Quander...

In Washington, D.C., it is illegal to posses ammunition if you dont have a gun registered. It is also unlawful to have ammo that is not in the same caliber or gauge as your legal gun. The penalty for holding a round of the wrong caliber is up to a year in jail -- as stiff as the punishment for illegal gun possession. So I was very careful not to buy ammunition before I had my legally registered gun at home. Although I wondered about the purpose of the law. Whats the worst I could do with ammo, but no...

I gave the police department my application to register my gun in Washington, D.C. one week ago. So I called today to find out whether the application had been approved. It has. This means that I can soon take possession of a gun that, though I technically own it, has been sitting in a locked safe in the offices of the citys only gun dealer. Yet things are still not as simple as they seem. I must delve further into D.C. convoluted and undocumented laws and rules before I can actually bring my gun home. To get to this point,...

While my new gun was being transferred to the District from Virginia, I returned to D.C.s Gun Registry Office to turn in my registration application. As you will see in what follows, this should have been simple step, but it took all day. Like everything else in my effort to get a legal handgun in this city has been far more complicated and time-consuming that it needed to be. DOORMy gun dealer in Virginia provided the UPS tracking number of my package so I knew that it was going to be delivered to our one gun dealer, Charles Sykes, sometime...
