Barack Obama's health care speech of Wednesday September 9 accused his opponents of lying, "plain and simple," when they said his health care plan included "death panels" that would cut off health care to senior citizens, chronically ill people, and other forms of Lebensunwertes Leben ("life unworthy of life"). House Bill 3200 does not, contrary to various allegations on blogs and talk radio, call for the establishment of such panels. Barack Obama, on the other hand, did, and Sarah Palin's allegation about "death panels" is therefore 100 percent accurate.

If obama's lips are moving, there's a (far) better than average chance he's lying. No one, NO ONE, should trust him or turn their back on him for one second. He is a bigger danger to this Country than OSB ever was or could hope to be. Give me North Korean and Iranian nuclear weapons and long range missiles. Those we can deal with. A radical socialist/fascist in charge, with a compliant/complacent Congress and Media? We are in serious, serious trouble.
We have to get this guy out of the White House. He’s dangerous.
And it wouldn't even be an issue if the Constitution were to be followed.
That's the sad part.
Watch out, you will be called racist.
So Denying care is now called “Health Care?”
Welcome to the Soylent States of America!
Thus it calls for an "end of life coalition" not to be confused with a "death panel".
NO DEATH PANELS FOR THE UNBORN
It was a Health Choices Commissioner who would make those decisions on what gets covered and what does not. Then another layer of bureaucrats dealing with Medicare (they are supposed to be independent, but being that they are government employees, how independent will it stay) will push for a more natural treatment plan based on quality of life years, meaning at age 50 or 60, we deter mine you have lived a good life, so if you get sick, just die and let some whippersnapper still wet behind his ears get the money for your health care. He gets more years to vote Democrat so he gets to stick around longer. The ultimate final solution, this time not based on ethnicity, but political party affiliation.
THE PRESIDENT: I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.
Interviewer: So how do you how do we deal with it?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And thats part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. Its not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And thats part of what I suspect youll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now.
Why would he mention that Seniors account for 80% of healthcare costs? That is where he wants to lower those costs and there is just one way to do it: Limit treatment, medications, tests, surgical procedures, etc. What happens? Seniors die.
He is on record as saying these decisions will be in the political arena.
Ruin Your Health With the Obama Stimulus Plan: Betsy McCaughey
One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and guide your doctors decisions (442, 446). These provisions in the stimulus bill are virtually identical to what Daschle prescribed in his 2008 book, Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis. According to Daschle, doctors have to give up autonomy and learn to operate less like solo practitioners.
