If you look at the pictures from above and compare it to this
Does it look like more than 250,000? Sure does to me.

On your chart, the ticketed areas hold 250,000...that is about the area the march Saturday covered at 1:30 with about a 1/4 of Pennsylvania Avenue still packed.

Don't forget the over-flow of people on the side streets.. and those stuck in gridlock coming into DC.
The point is.. for every one person at the protest.. there were probably 200 people who wished they could have been there!

Exact numbers do not matter...the point is that Americans are no longer sitting at home yelling at the TV set or reading news stories out loud and cussing; admit it we all do it. This march sends a clear message to our representatives in DC that we are not going to sit back and allow bad laws to be imposed upon us any longer, we are taking back our country, our government and our Constitution.

Also if you notice from that chart it only allows people in the grass area which covers about 5.5 square acres (reverse there figures to get the 5.5 sq acres) There were people in this event that spilled over that chart.
But that chart is about the best we can get on the size. so if we assume the density of this event was one person per 5 sqft then this event had close to 1 million people. If someone can show the density was different i would like to hear it.
thanks
