Not a good sign. Coercion is usually followed by force.

Not a good sign - get it over with. Aka bring it on.

I will take full on conflict over living under tyranny. Sadly many sheep prefer to be slaves and watch their ball games on TV.

Not a good sign. Coercion is usually followed by force.

That is why breaking up ACORN and SEIU at the start is imperative for a peaceful resolution of the Obama mess. Obama cannot resort to force if he has no forces. The military's long traditions will make it very hard for them to take sides in politics, and virtually impossible to attack Americans who are only protesting. Obama needed organized shock troops, who where loyal to him, not the constitution, to break up the conservatives. ACORN, SEIU and AFL-CIO were to provide these stormtroopers. But now ACORN is being hammered, the SEIU is looking like crooks and thugs and AFL-CIO has always had questionable ethics. Trying to arm these groups now, as part of his Civilian Defense Force equal in strength to the US army, would almost certainly set off a Civil War.

An armed mob is not an army. In order to use force Obama needs a group that (1) is loyal to him alone, (2) has an existing command and control structure, (3) can be armed, organized and transported without causing the exact sort of disruption he is trying to put down. ACORN was his best bet, but thanks to Glen Beck and those brave enough to show them for what they are, arming ACORN would no longer be possible without a fuss.

But the use of force would be a tipping of the hand - and would be like the 1776 colonists finally seeing the British marching in to confiscate their arms.

Basically, if they use force, “it’s on”.

Coercion is usually followed by force.

First, they ignore you.
Then, they mock you.
Then, they fight you.
Then, you win.
