The politics of personal destruction is what the left does best and in many ways it is all the left does. “Purge” — as in defame and then dispose of your political enemies — is a term that leftists invented in the 1930s when Stalin staged show trials of his political enemies, defamed and demonized them, and then buried them.

It’s remarkable how quickly Glenn has risen in the left’s hatred in such a short amount of time.
Beck has taken over the “most dangerous man in america” title from Rush.

The Divisions are coming from the likes of Boortz and Levin and quite frankly they are looking very petty, Ditto O’Rilley. The GOP, rest in peace, they are so done, and we are so over them and and shame on Rush lately for trying to recusitate it. Glenn’s Libertarian leanings are no different than Steve Forbes, it is just Steve is not on a quest to wake people up and a host of other things that keep him busy. The left doesn’t get it, we do not need a leader, that is the way our founding fathers saw it IMHO in the gift they gave us the Consitution....
Hence the reason they go insane every time Palin so much as types a few words on her Facebook page in the middle of the night.
Beck is a hypocrite. He’s all for the Constitution while at the same time ridiculing anyone who demands BO abide by Article 2 Section 1 of the Constitution that requires proving he is a natural born citizen.

It was very telling that the Time magazine cover story on him this week is almost identical to one they did about Rush 15 years ago.
I disagree mildly with Mr. Horowitz's point here. Glenn isn't circling the wagons and firing back. He's staging coordinated cavalry raids right through the middle of their camps, while they're sleeping, setting fire to their tents and driving off their horses. I say we follow him. It's about time we had a leader on our side who would stand and actually fight these people.
Having said that, don't be surprised at anything you hear about Glenn Beck, say for example that he got high on tequila and cocaine and flew in a private jet to a zoo in South Africa to have sex with a walrus. Or something equally outrageous.

The more they try to destroy him, he gets stronger and they get weaker. I hope they keep up doing what they are doing. Polarization also helps in defining and clarifying.

I just caught a little of his show yesterday and I thought I heard him say he was interviewing the President on Monday. Was I hearing things?
