Zbig Brzezinski: Shoot Down Israeli Planes If They Attack Iran

Zbig Brzezinski, who enthusiastically campaigned for U.S. President Barack Obama, has called on the president to shoot down Israeli planes if they attack Iran. “They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?” said the former national security advisor to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in an interview with the Daily Beast.

“We have to be serious about denying them that right,” he said.

One has to wonder, considering Brzezinski's closeness to Obama and his administration, if this statement was initiated by the WH as a sort of backhanded/underhanded warning to the Israelis that they must tow the Obama party line re: Iran (which, of course, they will not).

Whatever the cause for the statement and whatever the intention, Israel needs to consider that, like Eastern Europe, she is no longer an ally of this WH.

The allies of the WH are the enemies of the U.S. and America's allies are now enemies of the White House. In effect (and as everyone on this site knows), that means that the White House is an enemy of America.

Unlike the U.S., the Israelis have been spending money on new air to air weapons. I wouldn’t want to get into a fight with Python 5 on the other guy’s wing.
