'Barack and Michelle' tells story behind domestic tension that nearly ruined the Obamas' marriage -- (Double Barf Alert)

There was something different about the screams this time. They were more piercing, more frantic and insistent. As usual, it was Michelle who climbed out of bed first and made her way to Sasha's room while Daddy stayed in bed, hoping his 3-month-old daughter would quickly be lulled back to sleep.

The baby would not be consoled. Barack finally threw back the covers and plodded down the hall. "Jeez, Michelle," he asked, "can't you get her to stop?" Michelle, who gently cradled Sasha, shot her husband a withering glance.

It was a look he had grown accustomed to since the birth of their first daughter, Malia, in 1998. Michelle, like so many other working mothers, was the one expected to bear most of the parenting burden that only intensified with the birth of Sasha.

A nagging concern she wasn't afraid to share with him directly - and repeatedly - was that he seemed willing to put politics ahead of the family.

"You only think about yourself," she would say to him again and again in a tone dripping with disdain. "I never thought I'd have to raise a family alone." Barack, convinced that whatever time he devoted to his career would ultimately benefit his wife and daughter, shrugged off the criticism.

"Barack just doesn't seem to care what I think," a frustrated Michelle complained to her mother, Marian Robinson. "He can be so selfish - and I just can't get through to him that we're supposed to be in this together."

At one point, she went so far as to question whether, after eight years of marriage, their days as a couple were numbered.

Of COURSE he only thinks of himself, and why would he want to be a daddy ...... he didn't have no daddy.

I believe Rush correctly predicted that these personal stories would start coming out as BO’s poll numbers began to drop. Trying to make him look like a regular joe communist instead of an evil communist.

What does race have to do with it, consults his White Grandmother who raised him. Give me a break, grandma is grandma. Just like President being our first Black President well since they like giving labels, well breaking news he is not, he is our first Bi-racial president, seems he doesn't like to acknowledge his white side even though his “WHITE GRANDMOTHER” raised him. Talk about being ungrateful, thank God she is not around to see how he is acting.

Check this out Freepers. (IT will take some time to watch/read these links - it's little enough we can do in light of what our troops have been/are going through. To be informed is one small way we can support our troops = ?against ‘domestic’ enemies? = Look at these and cache them.)

A very valuable friend, who knows more’n most about what's really going on, sent me this link.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32962120/ns/world_news-washington_post//

pull out of areas like: “ particularly in the Hindu Kush mountains that range through the northeast, “ - That would be the Kunar District and the infamous Korengal Valley.
Do y ou have ANY idea what our troops have suffered, sacrificed and fought for in that area? The 173rd, in 2007-8, lost a lot of their buddies fighting the Taliban to the mat in that hell hole - and fought some of the worst mountanous terrain and weather - summers 120-130, and the most dangerous winters - minus 40 - in the world, with no running water, no real shelter - just what they could cobble together - etc...often low on food...cut off. But they got the upper hand. Since pres. bobble head took over, all that has been lost. Criminal.

How would YOUR moral be now, were you over there?

A second Frontline documentary on the Korengal

This was Oct 2008 - when, at least, they were still allowed to use artillery and get air cover. With the new CIC, they don't get that.

Here's a link to one of the front page stories of the 173rd

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/02/24/magazine/24afghanistan-t.html?_r=1

Vanity Fair also did 2 stories on them and ABC's Front line did a documentary - which followed them through ONE of their more than 1,000 firefights. A stark glimpse into what our troops have given in the Hindu Kush. Now our stinking admin. wants to spit on that. And what kind of victory and encouragement does that give to the Taliban.

At the same time, due to the new ROE that are getting out troops there killed at the highest rate since 2001 - because the new admin. REFUSES them air cover - I'd rather see them pulled out. Either let them fight and defend THEM - not the Taliban - or get them out. (lily-livered CIC - I don't think that description has yet been put on the restricted words list.)

I can no longer find the ABC Frontline documentary on Battle Co,, aired 11/12/07...written by Sebastian Junger, photographed by Tim Hetherington, who embedded with them for the first 3-4 months.
However, I just got a heads up that their separate documentary they did when they went back to the Korengal, will be featured in Jan at the Sundance Film Festival. This will be an eye opener, as the content is not filtered/controlled by anyone else but Junger/Hetherington.

Watch for it.

As close to an actual human family as can be fabricated in print...

Since no one was able to interview Toots, how in the world would any one know what he confided to her?

There was NO LOVE in that marriage....per Michelle!! Only when she DISTANCED herself was she happy....more time for herself made her less tense. Gee whiz.

Too much information exposing the stupidity and immaturity of Barak and Michelle. These are “children” in mentality having real children. Grandparents across the Nation have had to deal with these self absored idiots posing as the parents of their grandchildren. Often they end up raising the children abandoned by the Michelles and Baraks of the country.

This chapter shows Obama to be a dense, arrogant, slow-witted, selfish jerk.
