My kids now make fun of the teachers and my 12 year old (the youngest of my 4 kids) said, "I don't know what the big fuss is all about. All the black kids in my class have the same chance to make a good grade like I do and some choose to not do any work.... it's their fault if they don't do well."
I told her that she was right and she also plays the "uh" game everytime the class has to listen to Obama speak. You get a point for every "uh". and a bonus point for every finger point.... that way she pretends she's paying attention to "dear leader" and really isn't listening to what he's saying... works like a charm.
If those Youtube replies are any indication, Obama will definitely be a one termer, (assuming the 2012 elections will not be suspended;) ‘Rats are going to have their hands full next year. Vote while you still can!

This is a public school. I suppose it’s possible that this was not a school function, given the date (maybe a voluntary summer glee club meeting on school property or some such.) If not, some heads are gonna roll.
Does anything comparable exist regarding “W”? It would be fun to make one and see what the reaction would be from the left. Obama the man is replacing “America” the land. We have thought of America conceptually as all the people - there is an attempt to make the concept of America = Obama.

This is disgusting. One “verse” the kids were led to perform used part of a song we used to sing in Sunday school:
The teacher led them to say:
Red or yellow, black or white, all are equal in his (BHS’s) sight...

They then launch into a “praise” of Obama to the tune of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic”.
This is child abuse writ large - the fact that these Fascist government employees, working in a government facility, manipulated those innocent children into (ab)using religious iconography in support of a politician is unconscionable.
