Just announced by Jennifer Griffith in a live interview, WH has asked Pentagon for a formal assessment of a withdrawal from Afghanistan, that the Afghan War is no longer in our nations interest, blamed the Afghan elections.

While this might please the left wing loons of the Democratic party, Barry's credibility should be shot as during the campaign he kept harping that Bush had dropped the ball and Afghanistan is were we should be fighting etc. Thank God we did not have this kind of Presidential leadership in the past as we would have withdrawn Union troops from combat after Bull Run and capitulated to the Japanese after Guadalcanal.

So all the comments Obama made during the campaign about the Afghan War were an absolute lie. Susan Rice (Obama’s UN Ambassador) was his chief foreign policy adviser during his run for the WH, both he and she proclaimed countless times during the campaign that the real war on terror was in Afghanistan and not Iraq. So now that things are getting tough Obama is going to run away like a coward. Pathetic.

I don’t think they care much about politics. I think it is about speed of destruction. They will be political if they think they can’t act quickly enough to implement. Beyond that, BO doesn’t care about being reelected.

This gesture will be interrupted in exactly that manner by a big part of the world. It will tell them we are weak. It will tell them that we don't have the heart to stand up for what is right and just.
I had the opinion that Obama couldn't do that much damage to our national security in 4 years. This crap made me remember Carter and how badly he devastated our military and intelligence interests in his four years of pretending to be president.
