This was the plan all along. Obama said a few ago that ‘Victory’ wasn’t necessarily the goal in Afghanistan.
This could hurt him, because he also said this war was ‘necessary.’
No way. I don’t believe it. This would be political suicide.
For years, Democrats have been saying that Iraq was the wrong war, and Afghanistan was the right war. They said that we should have focused on Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. They said Bush took his eye off the ball by going into Iraq. They said Afghanistan is a war worth fighting because Al Qaeda attacked us on Sept. 11th, whereas Iraq didn’t attack us.
Can you imagine if after Pearl Harbor, if we decided to pull up short of victory against Japan??????? Sept. 11th was this generation’s Pearl Harbor. Now recently we’ve been hearing Vietnam analogies with Afghanistan, which perhaps is leading us to give up there. We’ll see.

Not only does al-quaida win but the mere thought of those that have died there’s family thinking they did it for no real end game cause.
The Rats used Afghanistan this go around just as they did in the 80's.....as a distraction from their efforts to surrender elsewhere.
Then it was the Central American commies there were looking to assist and used Afghanistan to pretend they weren't soft on Commies.
Now they used Afghanistan during the election to pretend they weren't soft on terrorism while they tried to secure defeat in Iraq.
Now that they no longer need to pretend, they can surrender all day to our enemies.
