I’m one of those parents. I work in Big Pharma, and I’ve heard enough to say, “no way.”

Parents err on the safe side when it comes to their kids.

They obviously distrust government health officials.

What is there to be confused about? The swine flu is widespread and weak, kills those who are already ill. The vaccine is quite capable of killing more than the virus.

Well, I don’t have any children, but for myself, I’m passing on the H1N1 vaccine. I still remember the swine flu vaccine of many years ago which killed severeal people and caused permanent injuries to others. I’ll get a regular flu shot and maybe a penumonia shot, but I trust those. I don’t trust this largely untested vaccine.

I wasn't going to get my kids the swine flu vaccine, but asked their peditrician what her feelings were about it just to see what she said. She begged me to promise her that I would not under any circumstances let my children get this shot! I have told every parent I know how adament she was about staying clear of this vaccine!

I just got a regular flu shot today. I think I’ll hold off on the swine flu shot, which in any case doesn’t seem to have been released yet.

Speaking of H1N1, here is a worthwhile interview with medical journalist, Jane Burgermeister. The video takes about a minute to get going, but is very interesting all the way to the end where we see a sweetly endearing side of Ms. Burgermeister.

N way will I or any of my family be part of Obama’s next contrived crisis.
My opinion: The H1N1 vaccine is Obama’s way of creating a health care crisis that will be useful in pushing Obamacare on a scared public.

Once again the American people are portrayed as stupid, too stupid to realize what a great benefit to them this flu shot is.

These idiots are saying, as they always do with vaccinations, that the un-vaccinated children will infect others. So let's say that 75% of a school gets vaccinated, that leaves 25% unvaccinated.

At the most 25% of the kids will get the flu(we all know it won't be that many). So, they act as if the children who get sick will infect others, including the vaccinated children, if that is so why bother with the vaccinations as they would be pretty useless wouldn't they?

The children do not belong to the government and this flu is mild in nature for the most part and will have no higher death rate than any other flu. 3 people in my family, including me, have had it, it lasts 3 days and is very mild.

Easy to catch, easy to get rid of.

People know the risks, they can read and study and see what has happened in the past with other flu shots.

Don't call the American people stupid, unless of course they are registered Dimwit.

African American parents were the least inclined to vaccinate: 30% said they planned to do so.

they don’t trust Obama? I guess they must be racists

Both my kids have already had it, as have the wife and I. Mildest case of flu I’ve ever had, tho’ the wife’s was a bit worse.

Here in Austin, they’re just calling it “the flu”, downplaying to the extent it was hyped before. But they do readily admit that “the flu” is swine flu as the regular seasonal flu hasn’t hit the area yet.
