This was no guy with backpacks. He brought a car filled with what he thought was explosives, parked it under a 60-story skyscraper, and activated the trigger. We're lucky the FBI got ahead of him or we'd have another bombing like the first attempt on the WTC, maybe OK City.

Maybe. This particular guy doesn't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer.

The VBIED (Vehicle-Born Improvised Explosive Device) apparently was supplied by the undercover FBI agents that were pretending to be a "sleeper cell".

The guy was reportedly making online pronouncements about conducting terrorist attacks, and the FBI reeled him in like a fish on a hook.

Don’t assume the guy is stupid just because the FBI was able to deceive him.

NEVER underestimate the brilliance of the enemy.

They brought down the World Trade Center with box knives.
