Good Gawd. That is cheaper than some of the others. $1,800 for a pellet gun!
I am going to have to research this stuff. As a kid, We didn’t have anything like what I just saw on a couple sites
Amazing!

If you read this story very carefully (as I did), you will notice there is NO news or genuinely factually information... Yes, I did, and yes, you are right. It was amazing to watch a seamless transition from ammo shortages to the sort of weird class analysis indulged in by urban pseudo-intellectuals concerning small-town Western citizens, to the conclusion - entirely unsupported by any evidence - that racism was involved. It's really too bad, too, because clearly the author had access to data that might have led her to conclude that her invariable narrative was badly flawed.
I lose patience with this sort of determined refusal to see the nose before one's face. This was written to reassure New York liberals (1) that Western people are ignorant, paranoid racists, (2) that they are too unstable to be allowed to possess firearms, and (3) that the only sanity to be found in modern America is the bigoted narrative presented in such urban-centric fishwraps as Mother Jones. They lost an awful lot when they fired Nat Hentoff. Integrity, for one.
To: Billthedrill
Ah, sorry, Hentoff was the Village Voice. My bad.

Why not jut order the book for a few bucks from Amazon? It’ll be a heck of a lot easier than some stapled-together PDF download to haul around as a reference if we’re in the sh*t and needing it some day!

I’ve been out of a job since November. The 401k is gone. If it cost a nickel to crap I would have to puke. I don’t have the money to buy anything extra right now. What I have is a laser printer, plenty of toner and paper and ability to bind it without any cash outlay.
I would much prefer to buy these books but this beats not having anything.

I got some 9mm at Wal-Mart last saturday in Phoenix AZ $11.?? Federal FMJ
My trouble right now, I’m filled up with 9mm and .40 S&W ammo. It’s gonna take a long time to shoot it all up.

That is BS! I can get .40 and 9’s for 11-12 bucks. But 45 is getting scarce and the prices are going up.

IIRC from articles I’ve read, the explanation for the .308 shortage is millions of women buying a self-protection pistol for the first time and that’s the preferred caliber.
Anybody seen that, as well?

police departments have been forced to scale back on target practice, fearing that they won't have any bullets left for real police work. What the heck? I thought real police work was footwork, investigations and catching the bad guy? Does it include summary executions now?
Real police work may also includes the use of deadly force. That's why they carry guns. But they tend to pray and pray a lot.
