Excuse me...this is pure threatening of small children. Children suffer severe emotional distress if they fear the stability of their home is in jeopardy.
She is telling these 6 yr olds that SHE has the power to take the very food out of their mouths, make them homeless. This is pure child abuse and she should be FIRED immediately.
On a sane planet, that would have already happened.
And..make the children feel as they are responsible for putting their families in peril. What a shame.

You know what, the abuse I received in the second grade in HISD helped turn me into a high-strung, anxious kid. Seriously. Reading this is bringing back a lot of VERY painful, sickening memories. And it just happened to be Houston, and it just happened to be second grade.
