This Canadian would like to invite Gadhafi to pitch his tent on Baffin Island, in February.

"The planned visit had caused a stir in Canada, with Prime Minister Stephen Harper ordering Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon to greet the despot upon his arrival to express this country's outrage over the reception Libya recently gave to the newly released Lockerbie bomber."

Good for harper. At least ONE country in this world has a leader with enough guts to confront this terrorist over his actions.

The camel jockey needs to go back to where he belongs which is in a cave in the Middle East.

I have a feeling that all this crap wouldn't have happened if President Bush was still in the White House.

I should think most Canadians would be relieved if this trip were cancelled. Who wants this putz roaming around (not to mention giving one of his speeches).

Gadhafi is so ugly he would make a freight train take a dirt road.

He looks like one of the Muppets.

They’re just being kind - there isn’t enough Thorazine in the whole country for Mo.

Like I try to tell my fellow “’Muricans”, we have many more friends
than enemies north of the border.

As an American citizen...
What’s truly unsettling is to have Sarkozy and Harper be tougher
than our “President Pantywaist” (as termed by “The Telegraph”).

Do you think maybe he was dis-invited and allowed to save face by saying it was his idea to cancel?
