And in the U.S.? Sam shocker! Americans wcinają Crap and the power of Tiya. How do they look? When you enter the elevator, wait for the next, so as not to be flattened on the cake. And that's not all. Presuming the citizens of the United States can only envy us ponadtysiącletniej history, culture and sophistication in the world. Examples are not lacking. Why we do not like America: 20 reasons why we are better than the Americans.

And one reason why you're not: Poland doesn't have the technical know-how, the industrial base, or the military capability to design, build, and maintain their own missile shield.

Chock full of American stereotypes.

Well if they really want to get into it I can come up with way more than 20 Polock jokes in response.

My father fought in a World War to liberate Poland.

What war was that?

It’s similar to the way we felt towards Poland when it was under Soviet domination and had a communist and pro-Soviet government.

Excellent point. Thank you.

1. I’m part Polish. Just enough to recognize the attitude. My sense, from my family, and one visit to Poland, is that Poles like things done right and do not suffer fools easily. And they can be blunt. Not ones to hesitate to be judgmental to spare somebody’s feelings. On the other hand, because they value rationality and excellence and hard work, they can produce top-notch things. Also, there is a dry sense of humor, and a confidence about who they are as Poles. And many have a rock-solid consistency in their faith. (Not all. My nephew managed to meet and marry a Polish atheist.)

2. That’s a hilarious translation. “Do not chase the oval ball.”

3. If the Poles are so self-controlled, why do they have explicit porn ads next to their little slide show? My young daughter came up behind me as I was looking at it. Now I’m going to have to find out if she saw the naked woman and do some explaining if she did. Thanks, Poland. Not.

. Agreed, and this is a core reason why I prefer Poles over my other ancestral cousins (Italians).

You are right! I would be lashing out at us too. They are a small and new country, constantly in fear of it’s neighbor. They fought hard for their freedom, and now it is in jeopardy. We have chosen to abandon them...I would be angry too.

Are they? Doesn't sound like it from this article.

Had to be WWI, because it sure as hell wasn't WWII that liberated Poland.

And football is a game for bezmózgowców.

Huh? Whatever is " bezmózgowców". How is it pronounced? Should I include it in my next anti-0bama tirade?

“Bezmózgowców” is a plural form of “bezmózgowiec’, which means “a brain-less one”.

I'm afraid it may be unpronounceable for a foreigner ;-)

Well, two reasons. The second is, Poland didn't have the progressive fifth column-created wisdom to install a Communist Kenyan 6% black anti-American puppet as their chief executive.

There is a small town in Virginia, not far from Virginia Tech, called Pulaski. It’s named after the Polish Count who came to aid General Washington during our revolution. He was instrumental in forming our cavalry, if memory serves.

Poland has been very pro-USA. I wouldn’t give much credence to this author.

I think they're hacked off at the Liar-in-Chief.

Which is sort of perplexing because I remember hearing somewhere that if the Obamassiah got elected, all of the world would love us.

The article highlights stereotypes and promotes what the Poles do well. Meh. It wasn’t all that inflammatory to me, since it doesn’t take much effort to refute nearly every claim.

The bit slamming us for our debt to China I can’t argue with. I wish our country didn’t owe anyone a dime.

I can’t tell if they like country music or hate it....

I think they like it. But only their home-grown variety or if the American performers come to Poland. Near as I could tell...
