You fell in love with that $22,000 Chevy Malibu because of its color, style and price. After driving it home, you realize it's not what you wanted. Maybe it's the way it handles on the highway, the location of the cup holders or the shape of the seats.
Don't worry. Bring it back for a refund, no questions asked, says GM's Chairman and new TV pitchman Edward Whitacre Jr.

How do you tell if a car dealer is not telling the truth?
“How do you tell if a car dealer is not telling the truth?”
HOW the Damm Owner cannot tell the truth and Crap flows down hill.
Not that I would buy a GM car anyway. But when it became Government Motors I swore I’d never even consider one.
“How do you tell if a car dealer is not telling the truth?”
his/her lips are moving
GM is only putting taxpayer money at risk, since they will get another slice of pie pretty soon.
Never buy a new car and drive it home that day. Give yourself a couple days to think it over and move away from the sales pitch.
Chances are, after a few days, you’ll get a call with a lower price too.
Also, if possible, when considering a new car, rent one somewhere for the weekend to drive around and see what you think overall.
Always consider the sales person is lying because he probably is.
In passing....may I suggest a Ford F-150 V-8, assembled here in the KC area,or a late model Ford Five-Hundred CVT AWD Limited. Black, nice wheels, very conservative. Okay Okay, so they dont make the 500 anylonger. Now it’s back to the Taurus name badge, but it’s a fine fine car. My Dad was a Ford man, I’ve been a Ford/Lincoln consumer, and my son drives a Passat (he’ll come around eventually) but I suggest you trade-in your GM badged vehicle and go Ford. Do you really want to be part of the Obama machine? Well, do you?
Other good rules,
Dont take your kids. They get tired and you feel pressure to move faster.
Set a timeline and walk away when you hit that timeline.
Their goal is to make you tired so you make mistakes.
Right now there’s only one AMERICAN car made in this country - Ford...the rest are import wannabes skirting manufacture and assembly regulations - and the rest are g-o-v-e-r-n-m-e-n-t. Think about that if you’re looking for a car/truck/whatever. G-o-v-e-r-n-m-e-n-t....would you really want a car from the same people that bring you the IRS, TSA, DEA, ICE, FBI, SSA, Medicare/Medicaid, HUD DOEd, and so on?
My daughter took her three daughters with her and let them run wild. Everytime the salesman thought they had a ‘deal’ she held up the youngest and said “look at her” “are you sure that’s the best you can do” “are you stealing part of my Christmas?” etc.....
Yes. Buy American and get a Ford made in Canada or Mexico. Or buy Hondas, Toyotas and Hyundais made in the US.
Well, in actuality, those Ford vehicles are part of a North American manufacturing team. Some parts are Mexican, some are Canadian, and some are actually made in the USA, I know, I’ve hauled them in the past from Laredo, from Oakville Ontario, from all over Michigan and Indiana, from Utah (airbag actuators) and from parts unknown cuz I can’t remember.

Is buying a UAW-built Ford any improvement over buying a GM product?
Ford is the only Detroit car manufacturer that is a member of the Council On Foreign Relations, a member of the New World Order, Obama’s Boss.
But those cars being sold in Canada and Mexico are American brands, Ford. Yes, you’ll find some Subarus, and some Nissans, and a some Toyotas north and south of the border, but which cars are being hauled by Mexican’s down our interstates and back to Mexico? That’s right, they’re Fords. Even Mexicans know that Ford is the brand they rely on for parts, longevity. Quality is Job 1.
Oh please, oh puleeze, the CFR. What weak minds will focus on when they have run out of arguments.
Sure they like Fords - its easy to get the parts because the parts are made there. Sort of like the reason that the Chinese buy Boeing airliners.
Some parts are made here, some are made in their own countries. But Ford, regardless of union affiliation, is SOLVENT and not on the government dole. (and as Forrest Gump said famously,) “That’s all I have to say about that.”
Good night. No further comment.
Amen. A couple years ago I bought a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, having bought them in the past. But if I live long enough to get my money’s worth from this truck, the next pick-up will be a Ford, for the reasons you stated.
