She's a corporate citizen of the world first, American citizen second if that, and only for as long as it benefits her. This behavior was once unheard of and shamed but is now the norm in companies.
She should really run for a UN position instead, except that wouldn't have much power. Once someone has wealth, the next thing they want is raw power.
Yada yada.
It’s not a matter of understanding big words, but of grasping concepts and recognizing their truth in your heart.
And, if you are going to trash an entire state based on its political woes, you should at least identify the state you live in.
Thank (((you))).
Liberals recognize truth in their hearts. We recognize the truth of big words with our minds. Try it, it's very satisfying.
And, if you are going to trash an entire state based on its political woes, you should at least identify the state you live in.
I didn't trash California, Californians did, and continue to do so.
Good luck with your smelt population.
If you’re going to call yourself a comedian, you should at least be funny.
California supplies enough comedic material so that all I have to do is point it out.
Well, imply all you want...There are a ton of people I know that are way more qualified and grounded in conservative principles than this woman...
What you may classify as a “principled citizen legislator” slash candidate, I call a “potential career politician”...
I would entrust a whole room full of “Joe the plumbers” and people who are non-apologetic “You Liars!” than this person, to do a better job that 99% of what we have up there now...
If she wins, she will certainly fit right in...
And Ira Magaziner that drove it into the ground and became the Clinton's go to man on their Health Care Bill if my memory is correct on all counts....
Am I the only one who thinks Carly, the Female Dog who almost ran HP into the ground, resembles Edie Falco?
Yeah, she does a little bit.
You’re way off base and mis-reading my comment.
I posted this as an article of interest, not as a supporter of Fiorina.
She has the right to throw her hat in the ring.
I don’t know enough about her and I did not call her a citizen legislator. You accuse me of the “implication.” That is a dangerous way to discuss things.
I was simply outlining what our general dilemma is politically, based on having read both Levin’s book and Coburn’s book.
I was trying to have an adult conversation, but you make it into a factional standoff, more and more common around here.
And yes, I’m a supporter of Joe Wilson also.
If I am way off base in how I am interpreting your position on the issue of her candidacy it was because you were not very clear with some of your responses in this discussion, so far...
But thats ok, I was intending to draw out a clear position out of you, and you have done that now...
I’m not arguing about how good a book illustrates certain political realities in our country, I am arguing about how can someone (I assume you live in California??? Please correct me if I am wrong...) from California ever believe someone with this woman’s past accomplishments and affiliations ever be lauded enough to unseat an entrenched liberal statist, and expect to be an asset to conservative agenda, when they themselves are in reality, a known RINO type politico...
To me there is no difference in the outcome by challenging or replacing someone like Boxer, with a Fiorina...
Now that we know you are not a supporter of Fiorina, then that establishes a fact, one that you and I absolutely agree upon...If you like what Joe Wilson did on the floor the other evening, that too is an agreeable position of ours...
One good thing you have done is put Coburn’s book up on my radar...I will try to get it before the week is out and read it...I’ve read Levin’s book, and find it a reinforcing force to what I already understand and espouse myself...
I want you to respond, yes, we are adults, and can agree, or agree to dissagree, but we have one more point to discuss, and it is a really good point to discuss...
I look forward to doing that...
I live in California and have all my life.
You do not know what I think. Sometimes I don’t even know what I think. Nor can you “draw out” someone else’s opinion. That tactic is called browbeating.
I found an article relevant to the CA senatorial race and I posted it. Period.
Oky Doky Smokey...Period...
