Are health care workers normally required to get flu shots? And if so, does refusal usually result in termination?

In my experience, admittedly in a jurisdiction far from New York, the answer would be yes. They’re required to have many, many immunizations as a matter of course.

I have never heard of this mandatory thing.

the Unions should and most likely WILL back up any individual worker as the union doesn’t want bad PR for themselves. ha.
