Shallow ones. When the sea floor gets lifted that is when you get a tsunami. Or lowered as well. Its the change in equilibrium that does it.
Its been updated to an 8.3 and there IS a Tsunami that has been generated!

Ok thanks:) Another question- does a tsunami gather more potential height the further it travels? If it was roughly 10 ft tall and traveled 100 yards in Samoa- is it likely to be taller and so go inland further as it hits far away?
