Ramsey County holds mass vaccination drill 'Operation Big Shot'(Minnesota)

Ramsey County health officials have come up with a novel way to prepare for what's called the novel H1N1 flu: Operation Big Shot.
They're holding a mass vaccination drill called "Operation Big Shot" today to test their ability to immunize a lot of people quickly.

Officials are counting on about 300 volunteers to conduct the drill alongside about 200 health department staff members. They emphasized that staffers will not dispense actual vaccinations.The drill, to be held at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills, will be run in two sessions, this morning and this afternoon.

Instead, volunteers acting as patients will be spotted with a marker as health department staffers refine the best way to operate a vaccine clinic for a large number of people.

This is all a friggin scam. More people are going to die taking this bastard vaccine than if they’d just boost their own immune system to deal with the possibility of getting the flu.

I mean, give me a break, the regular flu kills thousands of people each year and there’s no panic. This is just a way for government to flag and possibly haul away under quarantine as troublemakers. I cry total BS on this whole swine flu operation.

To bad they don’t have an actual mass vaccination by using the current flu shot. It is flu vaccination season, why not actually get something done while trying their stupid drill. My clinic does mass vaccinations of it’s 20000+ employees every year, it’s their practice for the need for mass inoculations. I have to say they’re actually getting faster. It’s one thing to practice response for a mass casualty event, but why run a dry drill on something when they could actually get some vacs. done now? Stupid stupid people, must have lots of time and money.

Yes I have recurring nightmares about buses of ACORN volunteers threatening me with thermometers and wearing pink scrubs decorated with the Hammer and Crescent instead of the Red Cross.

On second thought, I guess I don’t.

Public health programs didn’t begin only in 2008, nor did the laws to enforce them. What would this crew have done if they’d been around during the original Salk vaccinations. I think the Birchers called it a Communist plot by Ike.
