Attorney General Tom Corbett (R) is the most well known of the candidates looking to replace the term-limited Gov. Ed Rendell (D), and therefore leads his potential opponents by wide margins, a new Quinnipiac survey finds (Sept. 21-28, 1100 RV, MoE +/- 3%).

We The People are growing in numbers and the tsunami is rolling and gaining strength. Please God, expose the traitors in our government and elsewhere in our country.
Is this for 2010 election or this year like NJ and VA?
2010
Is that with or without voter fraud?
Thank you.
The one PA pol I want most of all to lose is Murtha. He’s so friggin’ entrenched though.
Rendell administration has been a train wreck for PA.. but Corbett has a big target on his back since he actually went after corruption in the state legislatures.. which was primarily dems. A lot of out of state money will come in to try to take him out.
What a great day that would be, Murtha loses in a Republican romp. Good news for Bob in that Survey USA poll yesterday, +14 over Deeds, look for the Wash Po to rush out a poll showing the race tied.
my sense is that my fellow Pennsylvanians are really tiring of Ed Rendell’s act, and are ready for a more conservative course. Allegheny County Supervisor Dan Onorato has thrown his hat in for the Dems. He is behind the Pittsburgh G20 debacle and a very unpopular tax on alcoholic beverages. Expect restaurant and tavern owners to grind him into the dust if he gets the Dem nomination.
I don’t know anything about Corbett, is he a conservative or a moderate?
3 blue states going red for governor - VA, NJ, and now PA.
Too bad the election isn’t this year. A year from now if the economy is improving and state budget deficits are shrinking the Dems can scream “see we fixed it!” and moron voters just might go along. But for now at least there is much cause for optimism.
In any case, for 35 or more years PA has always changed control of the governorship every 8 years. No incumbent has been defeated after one term. If they are true to the pattern again, it is the GOP’s turn next year.
So....
Is this guy just another socialist republican? You know... the kind that tend to run for office in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania areas?
Or is he an actual hard core limited government type “conservative”?
I appreciate that.
“look for the Wash Po to rush out a poll showing the race tied”
Can see that coming in 5..4..3..2..
