For anyone interested. After the past few days, I decided to try to make contact with someone in Hardin. Which I did today.....The 'American Inn' (I'm thinking it's Hardin's only motel) and her name was Dana. Speaking with her, she said she had not personally seen SUV's but had 'heard' rumors. She also said there were no gates being built at the entrances "that she saw" but again, she "had heard rumors". I hung up feeling I had more questions than answers, but unless I personally speak with a member from FR (a long term member) or fly out to MT to verify this with my own eyes, it's all speculation. Although I will say, and this is just imo, it would be almost impossible not to notice/see a 'force' move in (if it has) in a town of that size. The town I'm in is appx 6500 and you can't belch without everyone knowing.

Footnote: After hanging up with 'Dana' the above site 'popped' up on my PC. It is linked to Hardin's main website, but I thought it odd that it popped up just when I hung up with her.

Question to any MT Freepers: Are you close enough to check this out? 2nd question: Isn't MT a 'Republican' held state? I asked that, because during the Gore/Bush debacle I was looking for strictly conservative states and MT was listed. 3rd and final question: Doesn't Dick Cheney live there? (still?)

Dick Cheney is from Wyoming, I believe. Hardin is a down and out forgotten town from what I understand. After reading previous threads and googling Hardin and APF, I’m wondering if APF isn’t a bunch of cons connected to the Democratic Party taking advantage of a poor suffering American small town. I’m also questioning whether or not Hardin’s politicans are crooks themselves or just terribly naive. Something here is very, very wrong. The more you google and read, the more information you gain, the more nefarious it seems to be.

Montana has two Democratic senators, one representative, who is Republican.
Hardin is on the edge, maybe even on, the Crow Indian Reservation, so am not sure what jurisdiction all that falls under. I live 250 miles from there.
Unfortunately, we are no longer a “republican” state, though we did go for McCain. With the Indian population, and the liberal implants E of the mountains, Montana has lost most of its conservative voice.

And no, as far as I know, Cheney has never lived here. He is from Wyoming.

"Isn't MT a 'Republican' held state? I"

Used to be, but they have 2 Dem Senators, Dem Governor and at least one of the houses of the State legislature is Dem....Montana is heading Left in a very big hurry, maybe seeing Obama will knock some sense into them.
