JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA (BNO NEWS) Inmate John Evander Couey, who was on death row for kidnapping, raping and burying 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford in 2005, has died at a Florida hospital, officials said on Wednesday. He was 51 years old.
Couey passed away at 11.15 a.m. local time at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, where he was transported to on August 12. Gretl Plessinger, a spokeswoman for the Florida Department of Corrections, said Couey died of natural causes.
Couey abducted 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford, a native of Gastonia, from her bedroom in 2005 before he raped and burried her.
If Couey's body is not claimed, he will be buried at an inmate cemetery at Union Correctional Institution in Raiford.

You can ask him your self.
He just about never answers.
Keep asking he will answer.
Good Night!
I hope he’s enjoying the fires of hell. I *hate* what he did to little Jessie and to her father. And I don’t often use the word “hate.”
Satan has been real busy gathering in his flock lately.
Kennedy...Couey...maybe Polanski will be next.
There’s this little thing called “Free Will”. God is not to blame for the evil things committed by people (the blame - or credit - goes to Satan). God gave us the freedom to choose our path, along with the consequences for choosing poorly.
Actually, God does always answer. The problem is that we do not always listen for the answer, or accept the answer given. Free Will again.
Let’s not forget the recent death of Susan Atkins (Manson follower).
Yes...that’s the other one I was trying to remember!
The guy was about 5'4", dumb as a box of rocks, ugly as hell, looked about 30 yrs older than he really was and was generally a sickly horrible guy.
