In her speech in Copenhagen today, First Lady Michelle Obama said her trip to Denmark, along with the travel of her “dear friend” and “chit-chat buddy” Oprah Winfrey, as well as tomorrow’s visit by President Obama, is a “sacrifice” on behalf of the children of Chicago and the United States. “As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the president to come for these few days,” the first lady told a crowd of people involved in the Chicago project, “so many of you in this room have been working for years to bring this bid home.”

She really said, “me and Oprah”?!? Did they not teach grammar in her 6th grade class? WHERE did she go to college? Love that affirmative action.
Her grammar was correct.

with the second [for] implied.

No, it's Oprah and me. Just remove the "Oprah and" and repeat the sentence.
I know people say it was a sacrifice for me to go to Copenhagen
"Oprah and I" would be used at the beginning of a sentence as a compound subject.
“Wow. I’ve never seen Oprah’s home.”
She gave us a peek at it for her 50th birthday celebration. Usually she shows her place in Chicago which is much more humble than the place in the photo. Don’t think she wants everyone to know that she lives like a queen. Her fortune has been made acting like “just one of the girls.”
Winter is coming so I selflessly volunteer to selflessly travel to Tahiti for the next six months to selflessly study... um, sand. I’ll even selflessly study ocean waves at no additional cost. I will not rest until each and every grain of sand is properly accounted for!
Business has slowed so I’ll also expect each of you to selflessly donate to the cause. I accept cash and major credit cards.

Oprah has more money than G-d. Why is Ms. Winfrey travelling on the US taxpayer’s dime?
This is NOT state business. Under the Freedom of Information Act will any of the expenses of this boondoggle (how many planes; support personnel; fuel; etc., did this trip involve?) become public???

I’m no fan of MO, but there’s no grammatical error here. You might argue it’s impolite to put yourself first, but there’s no rules of grammar that prevents it.
