I just wnat everyone to realize that the Olympic Fail the Obamas just got served with, is representative of several, real problems facing us because these two are in the White House.
First, the rest of the world is laughing at America because of these two. They just bitch-slapped Obama down. We came in LAST. After the US President spends a couple (short) days there pitching for it. In reality while the IOC is a corrupt organization, they truly were afraid for having it in Chicago because they know corruption when they see it, and nothing was going to get done without a LOT of contractors and politicians getting kickbacks to make 2016 happen there.
Second, I think it's a huge rejection of Obama's "Appeasement and Apology" world tour he's been on since Jan 21. He is Jimmy Carter in a different hue. Can we hope this gives us another Reagan in 2012? Why not, the left got another Carter.
Third it shows they are terrible liars. Michelle still couldn't get through her pitch without lying to the IOC committee. She said one of her fond memories of the olympics was watching Carl Lewis run in the Olympics while sitting on her dad's lap. Nobody did any fact chekcing because, of course, it was a lie, but when Carl Lewis ran in the Olympics, Michelle would have been 20 years old! Carl Lewis would have only been a few years older than she was. Gimme a break Michelle. Nobody's fact checking your lies.
Fourth, I think this is a crystal clear indication of how this White House TOTALLY misreads and miscalculates just about every situation facing it. Cash for Clunkers. Stimulus. Health care. The white police officer arresting the flipping-out black professor. Iran's nuke program. Losing what we had in Afghanistan. And this is WITH a press that bends over backwards for him so far they are kissing their own asses every day.
Fifth, building off the fourth point, it illustrates just how dangerous it is for all of us in America to have this guy, and this White House, in charge of America, because they are SO inept and SO incapable, and SO over-confident in their abilities - which they don't have hardly ANY - I am actually concerned for the safety of the people in America with these jokers attempting to run things. They are so in love with themselves, they think everyone else believes in how great they are. they're the only ones who believe they are the Chosen Ones. The world has just gave them a wake-up call that they aren't God's gift to the world.

Four of the five co-chairs of Obama’sinaugural committee continue to have unpaid leadership roles in Chicago 2016, including Pat Ryan, the chairman and CEO of Chicago 2016; John Rodgers, the treasurer and director of Chicago 2016; Bill Daley, the former Clinton administration commerce secretary and brother of the Chicago mayor; and Penny Pritzker, the Chicago businesswoman and Hyatt hotel heiress who led Obama’s meteoric presidential campaign fundraising.
Pritzker’s family also owns or manages a handful of hotels singled out by Chicago 2016 as accommodations for Olympic workers, press and family members.
Ryan and Priztker each contributed $100,000 or more to Chicago 2016, as did White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, an Obama family friend, who also served on the Chicago committee. It still counts Obama confidant and vacation companion Eric Whitaker among its members. Jarrett was replaced as vice chair by Martin Nesbitt, the treasurer of Obama’s campaign and another Obama family insider.
ASK Public Strategies, the Chicago-based corporate public relations company founded by Obama political guru David Axelrod and owned and run by some of Obama’s top presidential campaign consultants, was paid “in the tens of thousands” of dollars by Chicago 2016 to do “communication management [and] communication planning,” said former Axelrod partner Eric Sedler, who did not work for the Obama campaign but is in Copenhagen, along with Pritzker and Jarrett.
“ASK has worked on the bid for three years and for two thirds of that time our work has been pro bono,” said Sedler, who would not speculate on whether the company would be in line for more Olympic work if the IOC picks Chicago.
