HOW would such a person insert himself into such a presumably intimate setting, tho?

Imus still can be totally wrong, stupid and obnoxious. From http://www.freedomslighthouse.com/ summary:

Imus said Sarah Palin is a nice person, but thinks it is a "horrifying thought" that she could be the GOP Nominee in 2012. Imus said she is a "dope" who governed a state with "90 people and a polar bear."

Imus, along with liberals/communists & pubbie elitists either simply don't get it or fear Sarah so much for the possibility she would return America to her free market greatness.

I watched... In the same interview he said a Palin nomination would be a “disaster” because she’s “dumb” and “a dunce.” Of course, Cavuto offered no rebuttal.

If this guy worked at the office with them and knew that hanky panky was going on, he could have placed hidden cameras at different locations. "Hmmm... Dave always boofs the help in his office so I'll place this pinhole camera in the wall...". Capische?

“Floppy-faced, accordion-necked, stuffed-mummy-in-a-cowboy-museum geek”.

On air comments by Imus’ “friends”.

I mean, in 2007 he got punked on the air by Al Sharpton whom he should have told to f*** off. So what’s with the hardhitting `tell it like it is’ Imus now?

Has he been paroled from his sentence?

“...Of course, Cavuto offered no rebuttal.”

That disappointed me. Cavuto laughed. And Imus is doing nothing more than repeating a media lie. In the media world Pretty = Dumb. That’s why they think Hillary is the ‘smartest woman in the world.’

I never imagined I'd be rooting for the lawyers, but I'd LOVE TO SEE A $100 MILLION SEX HARRASSMENT LAWSUIT AGAINST LETTERMAN ! ! !

As far as his audience - dirt-brains love dirt-brains, what's new.

“Natty? Don’t you mean nappy?”

Imus can’t be “nappy” because he’s white so therefore it’s called “natty” like your hair is all knoted up!

Natty has something to do with hair only to the extent that it's neat.

And were Mrs. Palin to cross paths with Mr. Letterman and were to punch Mr. Letterman in the nose and I were on a jury I would vote not guilty.
I do not think it would take Mr. Palin to kick Mr. Lettermans well deserving ass, I’m sure Saracuda would clean his clock.

“Imus said Sarah Palin is a nice person, but thinks it is a ‘horrifying thought’ that she could be the GOP Nominee in 2012. Imus said she is a ‘dope’ who governed a state with ‘90 people and a polar bear.’”

A couple of thoughts: first, I think Imus is pretty funny most of the time (at least, he beats both Letterman and Leno in that department). Second, Palin (who I greatly admire) created the “dope” image herself. In light of her interviews last Fall, it is appropriate for Americans to think she has a considerable burden to demonstrate that she has the intellectual wherewithal to be President.

For myself, I think Palin’s instincts and common sense are generally very good. I also think she is better than Obama in every category, including intellect; but “better than Obama” is a very low hurdle. In light of Obama’s cultish following (not entirely unlike some of Palin’s following), it will likely take a lot more than just “better than Obama” to defeat Obama in 2012. Palin needs to show us she can do that job.

“all knoted up” huh?

You have me all knotted up in laughter!

BTW: As you know, Imus’s phrase that incited so much din and thunder was “nappy haired ho.” Imus is no doubt white, but the phrase, as his euphamistic pitard, can be used to hoist him. Imus natty? That’s a stretch.

I will never listen to him EVER! Not since he said Sarah is a dope.

I hope his show is canceled. I would have tuned in to him on occasion had he not trashed Sarah...And don't anybody try to tell me he did not trash her! He called her a dope. Case freakin closed... Imus is not right on anything!

I judge people by what they say about Sarah, that is my litmus test! If they do not like Sarah, I have no use for them. I rarely watch Fox and Friends anymore since Brian and Gretchen trashed Sarah after she left the Gov`s office. Steve Doocy was on holidays that week, I emailed him about it when he got back, he answered and said he disagreed with Brian and Gretchen, and that he totally got what she said.

I have listen to Imus for years. If Palin was to go on his show or she spent 5 minutes with Imus and his wife, then I’m sure Imus would change his mind. Palin is actually the type of person (western background, straight shooter, etc) that Imus adores, but he has been bias by the MSM. Also, Imus’s producer is a big Palin fan and he usually moves Imus in the RIGHT direction. I expect that Imus’s mind will soon change.
