Michael Moore is destined to really hate capitalism, for his new movie "Capitalism: A Love Story" appears to have totally flopped at the box office.
This comes despite all the gushing and fawning by Moore-loving media members prior to the film's October 2nd release.
Take heart, fellow capitalists, for according to Deadline Hollywood this could be a flop of epic proportions:

Hilarious. What irony.
Capitalism votes with it’s feet and dollars to declare fat boy’s movie and epic FAIL.
I love it.
What does it cost him to throw one of things together? $50,000? We know he used non-union labor to save money. Doesn’t need a big gross to make money on this junk.
Such a shame. Must be due to supply and demand
What’s the matter, couldn’t MoveOn.org pay enough people to show up? The number of people reading Palin’s book will far outnumber those who see Moore’s movie. That’s gotta hurt.
This is good news for Moore’s artistic integrity. It would be very ironic if his movie about the evils of capitalism made a profit. He should make a pirate copy and post it on the internet.
Or is he just another leftist hypocrite???

Obama Says A Baby Is A Punishment
Obama: If they make a mistake, I dont want them punished with a baby.
It’s got to be just the really simple minded, gullible liberals (redundant) that still fall for this guy’s scam and believe he’s looking out for “the little guy” while he’s taking their money from them.
Moore could go to Switzerland and have a showing for Polanski.
I imagine Americans don’t find the fatboy funny and clever anymore as they realize they are losing their wealth and freedom along the liberals’ road to communism.
It’ll make money. Low budget, low expectations. $20 million this weekend.
A niche movie with no real production costs, relative to other things in the theaters.
So he got 1.5 mill (or so) for opening ... that’s 150,000 people nationwide who saw it (based on $10 per ticket) ...and the numbers will drop dramatically from there .... hope it cost him like $25 mill to make that farce ....
A link verifying your comment would be valuable to this thread.
Wow, big decline in return on investment for these films. F9/11 cost $6 million to make and made over $200 million, “Sicko” cost $9 million and made about 22 million, and so far “Capitalism” has made less than $2 milllion.
Take that, Mikey.
Each film costs several million to make. F9/11 cost 6 million, Sicko cost 9, no word on the cost of this one but it has to be a HUGE money loser.
It will stil be shown in high schools, and college profs will watch it and quote from it at lecture.
Mere $$ is not why this film was made, it’s ideology, and if Moore et all get to spread their ideas while the corporation that procuced the film goes bankrupt, it’s a win.
