When France chides you for appeasement, you know you're scraping bottom. Just how low we've sunk was demonstrated by the Obama administration's satisfaction when Russia's president said of Iran, after meeting President Obama at the UN, that "sanctions are seldom productive, but they are sometimes inevitable."

I just had a thought.
This unbelievable ignoramus may have held-fire on Iran in the Security Council so that he could better press his case for Chicago 2016 in front of the Olympic Committee, better make the case that this is a new America (meaning not the America of George Bush anymore).
If that’s the case, then he’s an even bigger ignoramus than I previously thought humanly possible.

The French criticize Obama for appeasement, and the Chinese criticize him for being too socialist. If he had any intelligence, he’d recognize the significance of that combination.
