President Obama's nominee to become commissioner for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission signed a manifesto praising polygamy and arguing traditional marriage should not be privileged above other forms of union.
Chai Feldblum, an outspoken homosexual rights activist and Georgetown University law professor, is a signatory to an online petition entitled "Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision For All Our Families and Relationships."
The organization defines itself as "a diverse group of nearly twenty LGBT and queer activists [who] came together to discuss marriage and family politics as they exist in the United States today."
The manifesto, first noticed by the Catholic News Agency, calls for a "new vision" for securing governmental and private institutional recognition of "diverse kinds of partnerships."
Among the stated "partnerships" the petition seeks to protect is "households in which there is more than one conjugal partner."
The petition laments what it claims are conservative attempts to push for "abstinence-only sex education, stringent divorce laws, coercive marriage promotion policies directed toward women on welfare, and attacks on reproductive freedom." ..

Wow, I thought the Clinton administration was a parade of whack jobs. The new folks in this administration make Clinton’s cronies look like the cast of Father Knows Best.
This czar group our President has put together seems more like Perez Hilton judging a beauty contest.
Look how well that turned out.
2 Samuel 12:7-8
7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8 And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
But God didn’t accept homosexuality... which is also an alternate relationship in this manifesto!
I would agree that homosexuality was not, is not acceptable to God.
Sorry, just doing my rachel madcow impersonation....
And what say all the same-sex marriage advocates who said it had nothing to to with opening the door to polygamy, incest, bestiality, etc.?
Just how many more leftie whackadoodles will wind up in this administration?
You just can’t make this stuff up!
I swear, where does -6nobama find these wacko perverts?
Each new one is twice as bad as the last one.
Maybe they’re having a contest?
Exactly! I wish there was intellectual honesty in the homosexual marriage debate. The gay activists use Alinsky tactics to demonize and ridicule anyone who brings up opening the door to polygamy or other types of relationships. Yet their stated goal is exactly that. Their idea is that they want to institutionalize the idea of monogamous same-sex marrige, then, having done that, move on to polygamy. Yet this is never discussed.
In fact, you seldom hear anybody say that homosexual marriage is good for society, or good social policy for any reason. Instead, we hear that it’s discriminatory and hateful and bigoted not to allow it, rather than hearing positive reasons for changing the definition of marriage.
How many of the Muslims in this country are quietly practicing it within their communities?
This is exactly what many of us have been saying. Same-sex marriage was only the first step, to be followed by polygamous marriage, incestuous marriage, and child marriage. If you say this to advocates of gay marriage, they scream and throw temper tantrums, but facts are facts.
