Need Republican Election Judges and Workers in Texas!
self | self

Posted on 10/06/2009 7:23:16 AM PDT by darth

I need help! Here I am in Houston, Texas, one of the bastions of conservatism, and I cannot find Republicans who will volunteer as Election Judges and precinct workers.

I understand that everybody has a job, business, or family obligations, but we are only talking about two nights of training and one day for the election. Taking a day off from my business will COST me $500, but this is a chance to make a difference.

This is YOUR chance to serve your country by running a clean election. As an Election Judge, Alternate, or Clerk, you can put a stop to the nonsense. In past elections I have caught democrats voting multiple times, presenting out-of-state drivers licenses for ID, campaigning inside the polling place, and other violations of the law. As a Judge, you can actually have them arrested on the spot if not prosecuted later.

Who will join me? I am going to be an Election Judge in Friendswood, TX outside of Houston. Please email if you want to be involved. THANKS!

We need Republican poll watchers in EVERY election from here on out. The Libs are unemployed so they will have loads of observers all over the country. We need to watch THEM!

“a fool in paradise” maintains the Houston ping list.

I’m in Houston, so count me in!

Silly question: You’d have to be a Texas resident correct?

In the 2000 election we needed at least 100 Republican Poll Watchers to cover dim-dominated precincts which had ZERO Republican workers. We got TWO, me and one little old lady. The lady went to an inner city precinct where they PHYSICALLY THREW HER OUT AND THREW HER BOX OF DONUTS AFTER HER.

I went to an inner city precinct where apparently they could not toss my 200 lb. body out. That day I prevented over 100 fraudulent votes which was over 10% of votes cast.

You CAN make a difference!

I’ve worked the polls for about 17 years, but I’m in a district in a small upper middle class town where there are seldom any shenanigans to worry about.

My temper is not conducive to working in such conditions.

USMC infantry training and all that it encompasses.

If you would have been an election judge or worker, you couldn’t be thrown out. This is what we need to do. Don’t just be a poll watcher, actually be a judge or worker. Retired, stay at home moms, start applying now for these spots.

Call ACORN for volunteers? That’s not a joke!

I have been working elections since 1994 and THE DEMOCRATS ALWAYS HAVE US OUTNUMBERED AND OUTGUNNED.

You gotta give the Devil his due. In my experience our leftist opponents are fully committed. They give money. They volunteer. They take vacation to work the polls or go door-to-door. They make sacrifices.

What the heck is wrong with conservatives? Here I am in the middle of TEXAS and we cannot get enough Republican volunteers to even put Alternate Election Judges in a few precincts!

BTW, I have gotten a few replies and volunteers. Now multiply that times one hundred and we MIGHT begin to match what the democrats will field in 2010!

I know someone who *may* be able to help. This person is timid though, and not at all good at speaking up or making waves. Would that hinder their ability to fulfill the position?

Not a problem. There is a place for all who can lend a hand.

Please put me in touch with the potential volunteer.

Thanks
